**Random Wednesday & Book Suggestions?**

Happy hump day!

I'm so happy that we are halfway through the week; I thought for sure it would drag as it always does after a vacation.

I've been all about catching up on some reading (as in books) lately, especially since having some time off work. I've been finding it so relaxing to settle down in the evening with a blanket on the couch and a good read instead of watching tv at night.

I usually like to read books with a lighter topic; just something to take my mind of the day. Lately, I've been reading the Emily Giffin series and am almost done with Love the One Your With. They are a great set of books if you want something fun to read, especially this summer on the beach!

I have several more on my GoodReads "to read" list such as:

So clearly, I like a little "chick lit", but I also love a good book about the South.

I also always love hearing others' recommended books, feel free to comment with your favorites below!

Emily Giffin is my favorite! Heart of the Matter is my favorite. Outside of Something Blue of course. I have never read a bad Jennifer Weiner book! Elin Hildebrand is also good, but the shorter books of hers always fall short. I really need to finish my current books so I can try out those other suggestions!

I've never read an Emily book before, but I just got Heart of the Matter from someone so I'm going to give her a try!

I love Emily Giffin's books! Not a big fan of Girls in White Dresses, but I did just borrow another book from that library by that author. I just read The Beach House (http://peaceandpizza.wordpress.com/2013/03/30/ricochet-the-beach-house/) and Summerland (http://peaceandpizza.wordpress.com/2013/04/18/a-well-read-woman-is-a-dangerous-creature/) - both take place in Nantucket and would make GREAT beach reads this summer.

Don't you just love GoodReads?! I have Girls in White Dresses on my list too, and my favorite Emily Giffin was Something Blue, followed by Baby Proof! Love the One You're With was also wonderful. I just finished Bond Girl by Erin Duffy and A Week at the Beach by Virginia Jewel. Both wonderful, easy, quick summer reads.

I love Emily Giffin! I don't think I've read Heart of the Matter though. Need to get that one!

Emily Giffin is a favorite. I've read all but her last two books. I'm currently reading The Paris Wife. It's well written and caught my attention for the first page.
