Friday night, I treated S to dinner at Liberty Taproom. One of his office mates from work ended up coming along as well with his wife. We had a great time and it was nice to meet and get to know some new people.
Once we got up on Saturday, we headed up to the lake. S and some of the other guys from the sailing club had some work to do around the boathouse and they put one of the sailboats in the water. It was a beautiful day and the other guys brought there wives/ fiances so it was nice to have a few other lovely ladies to hangout with.
S's brother had called at the end of last week to let us know that him and his wife would be in town Saturday night. His father-in-law had gotten a hotel room for business purposes and decided to bring the whole fam along. We had dinner downtown at Wasabi and after dropping the in-laws off at their hotel, us kids headed out for some fun.
We ended up at Social, which turned out to be a great idea. We each ordered a flight of wine and then a separate flight of bubbles for the table. All together, we had 15 glasses of wine, it was a little ridiculous.
I ordered the 'Big, Bold & Juicy' flight, it was awesome.

Sunday morning was a rough one. S and I haven't stayed out and closed the bars down in a while and leave it to us to do just that on the night where we have to turn the clocks forward. It wouldn't have been so bad, but we had to get up at about 9:00am to go see a house that we are looking to rent at 10! It was not fun, but the weather was beautiful and we LOVED the house so it was totally worth it.
After going to see the house, since we had brought Gunner with us, we decided it would be a good time to bring him to the dog park and let him burn off some energy with hopes that he would be a little more calm for the rest of the day and we could maybe get a nap in.
On the way to the park.. Even at 45 lbs., he still thinks he's a lapdog haha.
A little remote-controlled sailboat regatta?
Sunday night, we laid low and got in some puppy snuggles :)
Did y'all do anything fun and exciting over the weekend???

That is a lot of wine! haha Looks like you definitely enjoyed yourselves though.
My sisters dog is a big pit and he swears he's a lap dog. So cute!
I'm so jealous! That wine place sounds right up my alley! And sorry I never got back to you about the lake. We'll definitely go sometime!!!
That sounds like a great weekend! I love the flight of wine. I have been to beer places like that before, but never wine. So glad you liked the place you looked at, can't wait to read more updates on that!
Sounds like an awesome weekend!! :)
what a fun weekend! i'm so excited we'll get to check out these places soon!
What area of town will you guys be renting in? I'm still hoping we'll come visit in April! Fingers crossed!
Haha! Love that Gunner thinks that he is a lap dog! Our pup is about the same size and thinks the exact same thing. ;)
